Music and stuff

In India there is a lot of beautiful music!!!
You can divide the music in three head shapes:
Classical music, pop music and folk music.

Classical Music:

The Carnatic music is the tradition associated with the southern part of India, the Hindustani music in the north, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The big difference is that the Hindustani music since the Mongol domination (13th century A.C.) has undergone a lot of influence of Persian and Arabic music.

Pop music:

Even though in recent years there more independent rock bands, pop music in India has always been dominated by the Indian film music from the Bollywood studios. Indian films are usually musicals. Originally the music was mostly based on Indian folk music, later as more and more Western influences.

Folk Music:

India has many regional forms of folk music.
Even though there is much folk music found in the Bollywood music, the real folk music is somewhat relegated to the background. Known genres are bhangra, an exciting dance form from the Punjab.en Qawwali, the devotional songs of the Sufis of Pakistan and other neighboring Indian states.
